What is this site?

This is a portfolio/personal website for me, Dean Verhey. For more on me see the about me page.

How's it made?

It's a static site built with Eleventy, hosted on Netlify, and styled with plain CSS. The source is on GitHub if you want to poke around.

It is intentionally kept feature-light - while I'm happy with React, Tailwind, TypeScript, and other frameworks for larger, more complex projects, at this time this doesn't need to be anything more than a simple static site.

The theme was forked from glitch-hello-eleventy once upon a time but has since diverged quite a bit.

What can I expect to find on it in the future?

I'm not really sure yet - I don't write tons and do not promise regular updates to content.
